Amy Gorst
My name is Amy Gorst. I am an educator who has a passion for teaching children to read. I grew up in the Chicago area, but have lived locally in the Palm Harbor area for over 30 years. I'm also a Postpartum & Infant Care Doula, working with families in the bay area. When not tutoring or being a doula, I enjoy spending time with my family, walking my dogs and reading.
Education/Certifications
Bachelors degree in Elementary Education from USF.
30 hour IMSE training + IMSE Fidelity Certificate
Experience/Qualifications
My 15+ years experience includes teaching literacy success, small group reading at a local elementary school, teaching a specialized reading curriculum at a school for dyslexia and operating as a principal to oversee all aspects of student education.
